The Man behind George's Trains
George Olieux, founder of George's Trains, developed an exceptional knowledge and expertise with model trains while repairing them for various shops just after the Second World War. His work became so well regarded, model train enthusiasts sought him out to repair their trains.
In 1962 George bought Bob's Toy Trains and started his own shop, George's Trains. George's style of doing business was based on common sense, customer service, and honesty - values George built his business and reputation on.
An avid collector, George's own collection was so well known, Disney Studios rented it for the movie, One Magic Christmas.
George's Trains Today
One of the largest and oldest established stores specializing in model railroading in North America, George's Trains is also one of the few hobby shops online dedicated exclusively to model trains.
